We are never disappointed with Royal City. Food is hot, fresh and Tasty! We have seen restaurants come and go, but Royal City has been around for yrs. Thanks for the great food, family memories, and awesome service.

I ordered the Dinner for 4 for the first time. Overall, the meal was okay, but I was disappointed with the portion sizes and lack of flavour. The Dinner for 4 didn’t include any beef, so I added an extra beef and broccoli dish. Unfortunately, there were maybe ten small pieces of beef in the whole bowl.

We also received a “free” chicken fried rice for spending over $30, which was a nice gesture, but again it didn’t have much flavour. The condiments like soy sauce and plum sauce were very limited—definitely not enough for the meal.

While the food satisfied our hunger, we weren’t as full as we usually are from similar orders, and there wasn’t enough to have any leftovers. Overall, it was an okay dinner, but the small portions and lack of flavour were disappointing.

I’ve been ordering here forever and the food is amazing, unfortunately the staff is extremely rude. I placed an order online and free rice was added… I got home and the rice was not in the bag, so I called and was very friendly until the lady told me I was lying and hung up. Disgusting customer service is an understatement.

This place has amazing food but the service I received last night is what I based my rating on. I placed an order online, and on the website it automatically added a free chicken fried rice to my order. I then went inside the restaurant to wait for it. The lady at the counter was not very friendly but it was busy so I was understanding of that. When I got home with the order the “free chicken fried rice” wasn’t in the bag. I called the restaurant and the unfriendly lady answered. I explained that I was missing the free item that the ordering website had added to my order. She gruffly told me I received everything I was supposed to get and that there is no “free rice”. We hung up and I double checked my email receipt and it is definitely on there. They need to update the website because it adds the free item automatically, I only noticed it when looking at the receipt.
